Joining Dennigan Cahill Smith, LCC in 2021, Kate is a versatile attorney who provides her clients with a range of legal options for resolving their disputes. Kate recognizes that each and every case is unique and has the skills required to provide the right means of solving the issues presented. Whether this requires artful negotiation and mediation or contested evidentiary hearings and trial. Kate has the experience and drive to reach the best resolution possible.

Kate has been a family law attorney since graduating from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2012. During her studies, she appeared on behalf of the United States in Federal Court in various proceedings and hearings as part of her participation in the Government Lawyering Clinic. While focusing her studies in Wash U's trial advocacy program, Kate participated in several moot court competitions and served as the Secretary for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Prior to law school, Kate graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester, majoring in Political Science and English.

Kate has dedicated her career to assisting families in moving forward past their disputes. She is an active member of the Aldona E. Appleton Family Law Inn of Court, Mercer County Bar Association, and New Jersey Bar Association. Having been born and raised in New Jersey, and now residing here with her own family, Kate is dedicated to resolving those issues presented to all families in her community.
